A Beginning

I'm back home in Los Angeles for the month and excited to finally have had the time to get my website up and running. It feels like the right time to establish some more professional work habits, like the purchase of my own domain name. This past semester, my last at Gordon College and in the Boston area, was full of satisfying studio and shop work. The bulk of my attention was on my thesis, titled Formation, but I also spent a lot of time learning basic carpentry, painting and writing. I hope to continue working with that kind of variety this coming year, but with a focus on longer term, larger scale projects now that I have the freedom to do so.

You can expect regular updates here on past and current projects, as well as writing relevant to my studio work, so come back and visit!

For now, here are some process shots from my thesis work in the beautiful studio I enjoyed for the past four months. I can't wait to set up a new studio once I'm settled in Montreal.
